Again, child cannot be born 2 years after mother's death. Please source parentage and/or mother's death date. Date of marriage questioned as it takes place after she died. Is it possible Hester died later? Source data I've found from other trees show she died either in June or September of 1786. Possibly from child birth as her son was born in 1786.

Son was born 1786, but Hester died 1784. Marriage information shows she got married the month after she died although marriage end date is the date of her death. Is it possible Petrus was the son of one of the other wives? Please source information and correct. Thank you.

Marriage ended Oct 1784, so she could not have gotten married Nov 1784. By that time, she had passed away. Please correct.

Error data base says: Warning: Check the data.
  1. A mother's death date (Van der Merwe-2702 died 18 Oct 1784) should not be before one of her children's birth dates (Pienaar-1990 born 1 Jun 1786) .
  2. A marriage date (7 Nov 1784) should not be after a spouse's death date (Pienaar-1711 died 5 Apr 1823) .

See my comment on Van_Heerden-1172: Which Petrus van der Merwe did this Anna Sophia (van Heerden) van der Merwe (1739 - 1775) marry? Roelof Petrus van der Merwe (14 Apr 1729 in Lakenvlei - 1834) or Petrus van der Merwe (14 Apr 1739 in Lakenvlei - 1834) ?

This in regard to the following: Brian Margetson wrote: Son Petrus born 1786 therefore her death cannot be 'Died before 18 Oct 1784 in Tulbagh, Breede' ". Adriaan Serfontein answered: "Petrus - He must have been born July 1874 as he is recorded as three months old in his mothers estate of 18 October 1874."
